Does one person in your relationship take on the role of planner? Today I’m talking about making plans as a couple when you have different planning styles. And to help me, I’ve brought on my husband, Sterling. As you’ll quickly see, we have VERY different planning styles. While this can be a source of conflict, it can also be a source of strength for you as a couple when you can learn to work together and highlight each person’s strength. We are by no means perfect at this, but in this video we’ll share how we approach planning together in different aspects of our lives.
In this video we’ll be talking about:
- Our Different Approaches to Planning
- How we approach big picture goals and values
- How we plan specific events and activities together
- Some tips to feel more organized
- What we have learned from each other’s different style
